ProLiant SL170s G6 The HP ProLiant SL170s G6 Server is part of a new family, HP ProLiant SL6500, of HP server solutions optimized for scale-out customers to greatly reduce costs, maximize power efficiency, by sharing power supplies and fans, while maintaining total flexibility. Customers can deploy up to eight independent HP ProLiant SL170s G6 Servers into the 4U HP ProLiant SL6500 Chassis. The server supports up to two Intel® Xeon® processors with 16 DDR3 DIMM sockets (192 GB), 2 large form factor (LFF), 4 small form factor (SFF) or 4 solid state disk (SSD) hard drives and support for a low profile x16 PCI-e Gen 2 slot. With the SL170s G6 Server you can redefine your data center with the high efficiency multi-node chassis which offers shared power and cooling, with front I/O cabling is easier for servicing. The HP ProLiant SL170s G6 Server is ideal for applications needing large amounts of memory and I/O expansion.
ProLiant SL230s G8 The all new HP ProLiant SL230s Gen8 Server with HP ProActive Insight architecture delivers even greater levels of configurability for high performance and scale-out deployments, to help lower total cost of ownership. Up to eight ProLiant SL230s Gen8 nodes, in a 4U modular form factor, fit into the HP s6500 scalable system sharing power, cooling and systems management capabilities to achieve lower operational expense. The ProLiant SL230s Gen8 server includes the exclusive HP SmartMemory and delivers a 25 percent increase in memory bandwidth to improve performance for certain applications. Delivering on the promise of server lifecycle automation, the ProLiant SL230s features the exclusive HP Active Heath System and provides continuous, proactive, monitoring for over 1600 system parameters with zero impact to application performance.
ProLiant SL250s G8 Up to four ProLiant SL250s Gen8 nodes, in a 4U modular form factor, fit into the HP s6500 scalable system. In addition, each node can support up to three GPUs or four additional 2.5-inch hard drives. The ProLiant SL250s Gen8 server includes the exclusive HP SmartMemory and delivers a 25 percent increase in memory bandwidth to improve performance for certain applications. Delivering on the promise of server lifecycle automation, the ProLiant SL250s features the exclusive HP Active Health System that provides continuous, proactive, monitoring for over 1600 system parameters with zero impact to application performance.
ProLiant SL390s G7 The SL390s G7 consists of three different, two socket, server trays, each with their own benefits. The 1U half width tray is designed for compute density, and the 2U and 4U half width trays are designed for GPU density with support for up to 3 GPUs in the 2U and 8 GPUs in the 4U tray and the 2U tray with no GPUs can be configured for high performance/low latency enterprise workloads. They each use the same system board and go into the 4U HP ProLiant s6500 Chassis. The SL390s G7 is a two socket Intel server with 12 DDR3 DIMM sockets, two 1 Gb Ethernet ports, one CX-2 based 10 Gb Ethernet port (SFP+) and an optional on board Infiniband CX-2 port (QSFP). The s6500 Chassis is 4U and can accommodate up to eight half width servers, all individually serviceable. Also, it can support up to four power supplies, non redundant or hot plug redundant fans.
